Nobody knows. That's the fun of buying ebay parts. Will it open at the proper time and keep your engine from blowing up?

My guess is there is probably a reason that this one is 90% cheaper than the genuine units.

I have had great luck with Chinese actuators and so have dozens of others on this site. A person would need to be pretty fucken stupid not to set up overboost protection in case any component malfunctioned, but even more so if trying out a new actuator for the first time. So the risk is minimal. Good luck.

Ah, good to know. All my searches for 'ebay' and 'wastegate' came up with people asking about ebay MBCs.
