Returning Car Back to Stock - Temporarily

Anybody know what size and type of fitting I need to plug the oil feed line and cap the oil pan drain fitting and where to get them?

I'd like to return the vehicle to a drivable condition while I wait (3 weeks and counting) for BEGi to send me an ic tube and dp that fits.

I'm not sure exactly what size line begi uses.
Commonly we use -10AN i think they use -8AN line. Is the fitting in the oil pan threaded or a hose barb?
If you remove your oil line from the oil pressure adapter fitting you could plug the hole with 1/8" NPT plug from any autostore.

According to their parts list the sump fitting is a AN816-10-06D. Would the part store have a cap for this?

They might but it's not very likely.
You might have to remove the fitting in the pan and replace it with a -8 plug.

Thanks - found the cap at Summit.

That will work just make sure you get the right size. Thanks again for the check valve.

Or you can just leave 2 inches of the hose off the barb, put a bolt in it, clamp it with a hose clamp and drive it like that for the time being.

He doesn't have a hose barb to do that with sam he has a npt to AN fitting in the pan. Though that is a viable option for people with a hosebarb in the pan.

Im guessing he cant slip a hose over the an fitting and clamp it?

There is no smooth surface, just tapered threads and a hex to tigten it. Bum deal

The oil pan fitting is 3/4 NPT.
The oil feed for 96+ is 1/8 BNPT.

Thanks Stephanie - I decided to add an AN cap fitting to oil pan fitting. Hopefully the parts list has the correct p/n's which I went by. BTW, any updates on the NB down pipe fix? My daily driver is going in the shop so I need my miata running.

A spare AN fitting can be turned into a plug by filling it with JB Weld.
