Talking It"s alive!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: It's actually idling ~1250, even though it sounds and shows higher. Tach reads higher than Megatune. And exhaust makes it sound loud. I think it has a vacuum leak, hence the high idle. But it runs, and I stoked.

I've gotta finish the exhaust still. The downpipe is 3", but it's built to hook to my old header. Gotta change it to accomodate the external gate and then hook back up. That's tomorrow's task. Right now it's just a turn down blowing exhaust on my motor mount.

wow man, you have really been working. I was hoping to have my project up and running by the end of winter break, but it is not looking so good at this point. I had intended to be up and running on the MS1 by Friday, but Ive only managed to get the LC1 hooked up and routed wires/vac lines to where the MS will be hooked up. Once that is done I still need to finish the IC pipes (have stripes templates and need to mod for the 1.8) and downpipe ... and tap the pan for the oil return (not looking forward to that one)

Congrats Pat. You should combine all of these threads together as part of your build thread, would make for some good reading.

you're no hustler. It always feels great to crank a car for the first time and it not burn to the ground.
