Default SAFC 1 on a miata 1.6 nb?

Hi guys,... im new here... i live in greece and i have a 1.6 nb (my 2000 pics will follow soon) Ive turbocharged it by myself... well with my brother .... everything works fine but i need some more fuel so i bought an apexi safc1 !!! Does nyone know how to install it??? Like what car code etc. and what wire goes where!!! Thx a lot and best regards!!!

NB 1.6's are very foreign to us. I would try the 1.8 wiring diagram all it does is read tach and intercept the afm signal find the afm in and afm out and the tach pinout along with the ground and you will be done.

ok ... thats the easy bit though... on the backside of the safc1. you have to chose cartype (i think) and one more thing... so what configurations do i do on the backside??? thx a lot so far and best regards!!!

you can use a vortech and call it a day... the vortech can be used on nb eu models since they have a return fuel line.
'don't forget doing some timing mods (fm timing wheel for nb)

thx for the tip... but as i allready have the safc i want to install it now... and see how it goes... might change to vortech though ... dont know yet... anyways does anyone have an safc 1 ??? Even on a 1.8!? or 1.9!? .... well still waiting .... thx a lot so far buddies

Some have used it, and they are not very nice for the car... can't remember why.. just some sensor issues...

[ps Be sure you don't run lean... vortech on a NB is doable, but please check with wideband...]

Well you select afm type and wether or not you have a TB, also you need to look up wether you have a linear tps or on/off like the rest of the 5speed 1.6's. And wether your afm is rising voltage or falling voltage this is pretty simple. Also you can run safc with vortech i found it helped me to lean out top end once i went into closed loop.
