For crying out loud, if you're going to use sarcasm (putty), learn the appropriate way to use smileys. Sarcasm in person requires a great deal of body language. Sarcasm over the phone requires the correct use of vocal inflection. Sarcasm on the interwebz is limited to smileys, or at least some dictation that you're using it. Without that, you come off as beeing uneducated, uncooperative, and generally a worthless douchebag. Go ahead, try and talk to your dad sarcastically and try to act like you're dead serious. You'll probably be able to pull it off once or twice, but eventually, he's going to slap the shit out of you. Talk to your g/f (im making a very poor assumption that you have a g/f here) on the phone and use sarcasm while trying to act dead serious, and you'll end up single very very quickly.
