Default Snapping factory rods - theory question...

Thread is pertaining to my turd-gen (NC) Fab9 EFR 6758 build. See signature for moAr details. I sent a glob of money away on Friday to acquire new parts: TurboSmart dual-port EFR 120mm actuator, four-port EBSC, and TurboSmart eBoost2. I'm doing this for a few reasons...

One, my current SCG-1 is great for cut-on-lean and cut-on-overboost functions, but it provides none of the help I would expect for holding the WG closed until I approach target pressure.

Two, I still have the typical turbo problem of boost loss at higher RPMs. I intend to use the combination of parts above to greatly enhance spool, and then use the eBoost2 to (at a minimum) use the RPM compensation feature to hold boost flat from peak to redline. This is all easy, obvious stuff. Edit: I am using WG reference right before the factory TB, but there's still about a half to three quarters pound of boost loss moving through the TB and the factory IM. At least, according to the two separate MAP sensors I have connected to the manifold. /Edit

Now the theory question: since I have RPM correction abilities in the new controller, howabout ramping boost to negate the torque drop-off of the engine itself? Ostensibly, I will adjust base boost to hit 275ft/lb (maybe 15psi or so) then use the eBoost2 controller to ramp boost onward and upward to maintain that torque level into redline (perhaps as much as 20psi.) I know tensile load increases with RPM, and rods like to snap right after TDC of the exhaust stroke, but the stress of the excessive boost will be compressive. So, is 275ft/lb of torque the same at 4krpm versus 7krpm? In my head, I expect to snap rods at lower RPM due to overcompressing them...

Help me fix my **** before I break it

Many (most?) of us would agree with your theory.
Many of us also did/do the same thing.
Most recently that I know of would be sonofthehill and DNMakinson on their 99's

Nice. I'm not exactly sure where the NC2 rods forcefully eject themselves through the block, apparently ~300ft/lb seems OK. I'm happy with less, if I can extend it further.

Would like to keep the stock block unperforated for a while longer, but certainly wouldn't mind fully utilizing the capabilities I have..
