Default So I went to the strip today..

was alittle disapointed. Thanks to my not launching the car (1.6l diff) and the MBC spring being too soft (wouldent reach full boost in 1st, 2ed, and 3rd gear) my fastest time was a 15.2. Cecil dragway in MD. I did beat a turbo civic tho? haha. If I coulda launched the car, im sure id be around 15 or 14.9. Eatheir way, it was very fun, and the first time I dragged my car!

this is at 9 to 10 psi with 305cc injectors.

you should be running a lot faster than that with that much boost. have traction problems or something?

I pulled a 14 flat with lots of wheelspin on my setup, same tires too. A better driver could probably have pulled a half a second more out of it too.

ok, here is my fastest slip

r/t - .079
60' - 2.794
330 - 6.995
1/8 - 10.222 @78.41 mph
1000 - 12.948
1/4 - 15.2 @ 101.7 mph

you can see I did so bad because of my launch... im sure if I was confidant in the diff i should be in the 14s.. I had a pretty good 1/4 mile speed.

it doesnt help regular street tires anyway. your 60' SUCKS, but beside that looks decent, remeber the car runs a 17 flat stock, so thats a decent gain

I usually trap at 77 or 78 in the eighth, with a 2.3 or 2.4 60 foot I run mid 9s in the eighth. With some good traction, you should be able to hit 14 flat in the quarter.

damn, after some looking around, with my 1/4 mile speed, I should be near high 13 secs. Ugh, I shoulda just launched the car one of the times!

No wonder cars pulled good on me till the 1/8 mile where I would then be pulling very good on them.

If you get your trap speeds up to 88 mph you should be able to time travel.

CD if you can hook and pull a 1.6 or better 60 that 100 mph 1/4 could put you in the low 13's if you shift perfect etc. Altogether the MPH shows you are making good hp but have a hard time getting it all down. My bet is you spun 60 ft or so. easily

r/t - .079 <---that sucked
60' - 2.794 <--- thats even worse,
1/4 - 15.2 @ 101.7 mph i laughed at this one

in comparison

this was me in my civic last year

r/t was .059
60' was 1.9 in a fwd turd
1/4 was 15 flat at 92 miles an hour

u should be much faster,
improve ur driving, tires, and reaction time

back peddle off the line, or get better tires, or both,
ur spinning wayyy to much
ur reaction time was not as good as it could be
and ur 60 foot was absolutely horrible

the good news is ur car is much faster than u make it out to be,

u just need to tame it....

I know I know its just im afraid to fully launch it with just the 1.6l diff, espically witht he azenis, anyhting sticker would be even worse. Not to mention my car just loves to wheel hop really bad for some reason.

Yea man, that's a good mph for sure. Can't say i've ever seen a car run over 100mph and be over 15 haha. Alot of good advice above, get your launching down and you'll be making some pretty impressive times.

I can't remember exactly but in my stocker 1600 bogging off the line it ran a 2.6 60'. I also snapped the stocker diff that night. The only advice I can add is get a decent diff so you can smash it off the line.
