since when is measuring the manidold harder than the gasket we must have different definitions of measure or you dont have the tools, or don't trust yourself these are all valid points. Not getting snippy or anything just trying to understand where you are comming from.

Magna. I'm using some shitty CMM. - Extreme CMM http://www.burtonprecision.com/cmm-sales.htm
Not being cocky or anything. I can measure everything for you if you want, it's just too time consuming. If you want anything measured on it, it would cost you around $170-200/hour. - minimum rate rate is 1hour though. |
Ok now it becomes clear to time consuming. Cool i wish you luck man.

Does anyone know how thick is a Sch 40 pipe (wall thickness)?
|
The thickness increases as the ID of the pipe increases, but 1.5" sch 40 ss pipe fittings are 0.145" thick

ordered 16, 90* butt-weld ones in 1.5" sch 40. and 3ft of 1.5" pipe sch 40. is this going to be enought for a manifold? for a manifold like this one here:
https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/at...1&d=1184549899 thanks Neo |
ha, thats enough for at least 2 of those manifolds.
|
it uses 4 on each leg... 3+ 1/2 actually. SO i ordered 4 for each leg just to be safe...
