yeah I see what you're saying, I had the injectors clean and flowed and they were dead on at 550cc at 43.5psi, so that's more like 645cc at 60psi, which is stock fuel pressure on a '99.

Well I'll try all the suggestions when I get home from work, hopefully I can tame them. If not I might try smaller injectors before I just on a standalone.

I have also the same Problem with my 550cc injectors in my 91 1.6 Turbo Miata. The idle sways from 600 to 900 rpm. Has anyone testet the "Lag Time" settings by the EMU Software?

Crap I forgot about the higher fuel pressure of the NBs. I bought 660 cc injectors. Now i'm thinking that was a bad choice. Oh well, I should have some Dyno time this week. Maybe we can tune them if not it's rebuild time for the 550s I have or time to source some 460s

I think 660 is way too big for emu, you don't need anything that big unless you plan on running 300+whp, and if you do you must have a standalone

Or maybe someone isn't using 100% gasoline..

I didn't think the EMU had the ability to tune for E85?

EMU has no idea about fuel.. what it can't do is Flex.. which is the ability to go between fuels without using a different map.

Well, you boys have saved me! I really appreciate all the fast help that I got. I played around with it today and got the car to idle pretty decent at 900-1000rpm, at like you guys said ~13.6afr, trying to go below that makes the car hunt for fuel and it just doesn't run. I tuned the map a little bit and the car runs pretty smooth now! Made me all happy inside, it was also nice out so I washed it etc.

But yeah thanks guys.

Got the car started for the first time today. Idles like stock on the 660's.

But it looks like might have to pull them anyway. They are Venom Injectors and I’ve been reading some nasty things about Venom injectors not flowing consistently. I'm going to have them flow tested to make sure they are putting out what they say. I may have my 550's cleaned and serviced JIC.
