Default t25/t28 turbine housing

For all of you fellow sr20 turbo bois. I have a t28 turbo off a 180sx, now I bought this turbo originally thinking it was a t25 however it turns out it's not. It has a .80 a/r compressor and .64 turbine I can provide more detail if you want to verify. Now my issue is with the turbine housing. Apparently the t25 and t28 have a different bolt pattern or differ slightly from each other, meaning I can't bolt up my downpipe outlet from kraken as it's made for a t25. I was wondering if it's possible to swap a t25 turbine housing onto my turbo allowing proper fitment. Any help would be appreciated.

that sounds more like a RB25 turbo. Do you have pictures of it?

Well I looked up the tag# and it is indeed a t25 from a SR20DET.

How close are the turbine bolt holes? You could open them up a little bit and it should fit. Iirc they are really close

How close is it to fitting? You could open up the bolt holes on the turbine outlet from kraken a little and it may fit.

Yea I was thinking about that, it's pretty close. I'm also wondering though. One of my threads is damaged and I can't get a stud in there. I'm probably going to have to tap it again but how bad would the exhaust leak be if I just used 4

It's not ideal but tbh you probably wouldn't Leak at all. I've had to make due with 3 before when my studs broke and you'll be fine
