Default T25 Turbine won’t go in

so after completly rebuilding the turbo and double checking my work as i go, its time to install the turbine into the CHRA. After sliding it in there’s still about a half an inch gap. I have no idea what’s stopping it but it’s not the seal that’s where the turbine is

Yeah that doesn't look right at all that should go further than that.

If I remember correctly there is a seal that is almost completely round but has a cut in it and you need to make sure that it seats down all the way before it goes together.

I think it’s called the piston seal? However, That seal isn’t even going inside the chra. Can I put the bearings in backwards?

Take a soft mallet and gently tap on the turbine hex head. If it doesn't seat in there and "click" together, something is wrong.

Yup tried that. I even took the beating out on the compressor side and left the turbine side in and still nothing. It seems like the inner portion of the CHRA is narrower than the turbine shaft end. Ill take the Turbine side bearing out tomorrow

If that’s not it i’ll the stumped
