Default T3/T4 setup, hp numbers?

hello, i own a 1994 1.8l miata.
im going to turbocharge it, but i would like some honest opinions on what you think my HP numbers will be.
Heres my setup:
T3/T4 turbo at 10-11psi
3 inch exhaust - no cat
larger fuel injectors (not sure what cc yet)
tubular SS manifold
28x7x2.5 intercooler
tuned with AEM F/IC w/ AEM UEGO A/F guage

From what i have been reading, im guessing 240whp and 220wtq
sound accurate?

What trim compressor wheel? What trim turbine wheel? What turbine housing A/R? What are your target AFRs? How much timing are you planning on running? What rear gears do you have? What elevation are you at? Will you be doing this on a sunny 70*f day with 0% humidity? Dynojet? Dynodynamics? Mustang? What size wheels/tires will you be running and at what pressure?

In other words...just do it and find out . We can speculate all day, but it isn't going to do any good. But just for the **** of it, ~240ish sounds alright.

Edit:
This is a **** poor intro thread. Go make one.

You're not going to make that much power at 10psi with a T3/T4 on a stock '94 motor. I'd say in the low 200's range is more likely. I'm going to say you'll need 12-14psi to get the power you're looking at.

The weak link in your setup is the AEM. I would highly recommend you investigate another piece for management. Megasquirt is a no-brainer around here and very economical. It can be a full standalone setup and will do ten times what the AEM F/IC will do. Pairing an MS with a set of 460cc injectors will fuel over 250whp with good duty cycles... 550cc injectors are good to the 300whp limit or a bit more depending on your setup. You can also fully control timing, which the AEM will not.

My honest opinion is that if you simply call it a T3/T4 you dont actually have the turbo or anything else yet, making this thread pointless speculation. T3/T4 encompases dozens or more different variations of harware and can be capable of anything up to about 1000HP. T3 refers to the exhaust side of the turbo, the T4 refers to the compressor side. Ever since F&F people seem to think its some specific turbo that allows a lame 420A powered Eclipse to top out at 140 MPH and need NAWZZZZ.

The dyno section is your freind.

Question: Why run a t3/t4 unless you plan on more than 300 HP? A t3 super 60 will net around 300hp and spool like crazy. A GT28 series turbo or small t3 would be in the HP range you're looking for with less lag.

Now, go to the meet and greet section and introduce yourself before the e-thuggin begins.
