Hello, Im new to this forum and just wondering, TD04-13L vs GT2554R, Will GT2554R spool up faster because it's a ball bearing turbo or it will perform the same as TD04-13L? I plan to boost 10PSI, looking for low-mid end torque

 

Both are equal, but TD04L may be somewhat quicker. Look at the spool thread.

 

I can't tell you from personal experience, but what I've been told from people who do know. The TD04 will spool quicker than the GT25.

 

So even though it spools faster, it may produce less power at the same boost with GT2554R?
