Default Miata Turbo Project...NEED HELP!!!

I have a 1992 Miata 1.6L stock internals...I want to make it turbo and I have almost everything I need...
Here is my setup:
-t3/t4
-550cc injectors
-AEM-adjustable fuel regulator
-front mount intercooler
-RX7 flow meter
-16 psi wastegate
-boost controller
and now my 2 big problems....

what can I do with the ignition and the computer...I dont know what to do maybe someone can help me...

at good-win-racing they have a 45volt ignition for the miata price:$375 with cables 0 ohm anybody know if this is a good option...

-t3/t4

More detail needed.

-550cc injectors

Good. Are they are high or low impedance?

-AEM-adjustable fuel regulator

Sell it.

-RX7 flow meter

Sell it.

-16 psi wastegate

Seems a bit excessive to me.

-boost controller

You're planning to run more than 16 PSI?

and now my 2 big problems....

You have more than two, but we'll start there.

what can I do with the ignition and the computer...I dont know what to do maybe someone can help me...

Stock ignition will be fine if you run .025" or so plug gap. A popular (and cheap) upgrade is to install a coil-on-plug system using hardware salvaged from certain Toyotas. Info:

With the computer, you have some options. The best move, in my opinion, would be a Megasquirt. You can either build your own or buy a Plug-n-Play version here: http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...nny-p-154.html

You're also going to need a manifold/downpipe/exhaust.
Have you read the sticky at the top of this forum titled FAQ?

The power you're going to make with a T3/T4 almost certainly warrants a differential upgrade. Any drag/drift/track time with the stock dif=grenade. A clutch is immediately in your future as well.

Have you done a compression check to see if this motor is a good candidate for forced induction?

We aren't here to spoon-feed this **** to you. Read the FAQs, read build threads, and do your own research. Everything you need to know has already been well-documented and put into saved posts.

Turbo
Compressor .50 A/R Compressor
Turbine .63 A/R Turbine

the injectors are high impendance and the brand is: rc engineering

the boost controller is because i want to be at 12psi...

i already have a manifold and downpipe that i had custom made...

i have a 1.8 clutch, flywheel and pressure plate(stock)...I want to upgrade it as well with an ACT

What kind of differential you suggest?

And yet you said you had a 16 PSI wastegate. I'm assuming perhaps that was a typo and you meant to say 6 PSI? A boost controller can raise boost pressure above the "base" wastegate pressure, but it cannot lower it below.

What kind of differential you suggest?
The '94 to '05 cars have a larger and more robust diff than the '90-'93 cars. Specifically, the ring & pinion gears tend to shatter on the '90-'93 diffs when you abuse them with great amounts of torque.

Along with the driveshaft and half-axles, the '94-'97 diff is a direct bolt-in. I'm not 100% certain on the '99+ diffs, you may also need to grab the rear hubs from the donor as well. As an added bonus, the '94+ cars were available with an optional factory Torsen LSD.

ohhh and what do you suggest with the fuel regulator and flow meter? since you told me 2 sell them...
With properly sized injectors you don't need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, just let the factory unit do its thing and leave the rest of the fuel system alone.

With a good ECU (like the Megasquirt standalone or even the EMU piggyback) you don't need any airflow meter at all, not even the stock one. Mine has been sitting on a shelf in the garage for about two years.

NOOB, this is why you go to the NOOB forum and make your first post there. And this is why you put in your signature a short list of modifications you've already made. I have wasted approximately 8minutes of my life on you at this point and I can see it was probably in vain... based on your follow-on questions, I predict you will be looking for a new engine soon.

About what? SamNavy and Savington have pretty much covered everything I'd tell you, which is to read the FAQs, the stickys, and the interesting threads.

If you're asking about the RPM (3100 @ 65), it's not exactly rocket science. .814 5'th gear, 4.1 rear gear (or 3.9, or 4.3 depending on year of donor), figure 22.5" to 23" tire diameter. Do the math.
