I'm looking really hard at an '03 Miata with only 14k on the odo. This car is pristine for only $10,500..like new inside/out. unfortunately it's an automatic. So much for mountain fun. It still is pretty spunky for an auto but a turbo would definately liven it up...supercharger even better. Any ideas on a reasonably priced turbo that will come on quick and not llllaaaaagggggg like most do? Please don't preach to me about automatics...been there, done that. I also have an NA with a 5 spd and love it. Thanks for any replies.

Haven't driven many well set-up turbocharged cars have you? Understandable, you were probably busy double posting.

Call up FM or bell engineering. You don't strike me as the type of person to piece together a kit from scratch.

 

You used the word lag, and automatic in the same post... I recommend you do some research. Oh, I would definitely NOT spend 10K on a stock Miata. keep it tight.
