Default Turbo on but no inlet mainifold

So the plan is to get the ECU in soon.

Then the intercooler and other gubins.

then install the turbo but dont link it up to the inlet mainifold. so the car at this point is still NA just with a turbo spinning on the side of it.

Then i want to drive it to a tunning company so they can map it and make sure im not damageing the engine.

Would this be ok to do or can the back presure from the turbo damage the engine or can the lack of presure on the turbo damage the turbo

cheers guys

the part where its not a good idea because it will spin to kingdom come without being connected to charge piping.

why not just install everything as needed, then wire the wastegate open and carefully drive there

Low revs, low throttle. Drive like you've got a cop behind you and one more ticket will get your license revoked.

The inside of your engine will end up on the outside.

The first rule of driving with no tune or ecu is: Don't go in boost.

All rhetoricals past that are useless and should not be explored.
