Turbo manifold and downpipe

I bought this manifold and down pipe from ebay which looks like it has a take off for an external wastegate now should I fit one? The turbo iv decided to go for is a t25 from a 200sx which has an internal wastegate

You are seriously fucked. Not because of the manifold. Not really because of the fact that the downpipe will probably crack and fail. But mostly because you can't read.

There is no possible way that this is a real post. Who made a second account?

I'm sorry this is a genuine post but if your referring to me using a t25 on a t3 (not being able to read) I'm intending on using an adaptor plate if I need to

is your goal with this build to use every single non-compatible part with every single other non compatible part and just use adapters for everything.

that sounds...........brilliant:fael:

What in the hell is going on here?

That's... worse.

The manifold is fine. Buy a T3/T4 off of ebay and sell the downpipe for scrap because it is thin and will fail. Then buy an outlet flange to fit the T3/T4 and have the local muffler shop fab a downpipe to fit everything for $150 and be done with it.

See DVCN's build thread for success stories with a $150 Chinese T3/T4.

Do not use adapters on the turbine inlet side. They will:
1. Fail
2. Cause the turbo to hit the hood
3. Cause the downpipe not to fit the car anyway

What a pile of eggplant.

Does turbo hit block or not? Everything else is sort of pointless until that is sorted out.

krissetsfire 08-13-2014 07:34 PM

you know what isn't sorted out. This stupid noobs ability to read. Figure that out before you post you stupid hoser. suck it. :vash2:

p.s. read the forum rules.

Thought I would chime in here since I've had experience with that manifold and downpipe. The manifold was great, didn't crack. And the downpipe also worked...with some modification. For the 6000 miles or so it was on the car it did not crack or break, the wastegate held 15 psi all day which is the spring I had in the wastegate, however it didn't fit worth a shit. It hit the firewall, a few minutes with a blow torch and hammer fixed that but it also did not fit up to the stock exhaust which was ok with me since the next day I had a new exhaust fabbed up anyways.

Long story short, yes it will work with some modification. I would not buy it again. With an adapter plate for the T25 forget about it :giggle:
