Thanks for the reply dude. I'm personally grateful that youre spending time and money to explore the limits while the rest of us sit back and play it safe.

It seems like youre not running the full backspacing and youre trading bearing life for traction. I suspected this would be the only way short of converting the front end to tube frame.

I'm curious to see your underbody work and wondering if it is mass-produceable at all. The miata is pretty hairy in the triple digits, especially through corners.

Also, out of curiosity, what do your EGTs look like during those WOT 150mph stretches?

We're waiting right now, the Hoosiers have not yet been released. Dave Garner tells me another week or two before the big purple gumbos hit the door, but we're first on the list. Until then we have been playing with the three piece wheels, final backspacing/offset will be determined once we have a set of tires mounted

Not too worried about bearing life since we blueprint ours and pack them with Redline CV2, but this is a much bigger wheel/tire combo so we'll see... we'll have a set of spares just in case.

I'll try and get some pics of the front ductwork and underbody panels up on the website soon... really busy in the shop right now, I've been too exhausted to think about the website which needs extreme updating
