Assembling a new to me Garrett 2560R. The waste gate was loose, and I am trying to find the correct size clip to attach the arm. As close as I can measure, it seems to be 4mm, or 5/32 in. width where the clip goes, but nothing I'm trying from the hardware is working. (either too small, or next size too big). First, should I use a "C" clip, or "E" clip? If anyone knows the standard size, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

 

I bought a few sizes from Lowes, I think I used a 5/32 e clip.

 

Thanks HeavyD, I'm starting to think someone mixed in the wrong size in the box's at my local hardware. I'll search out another source for 5/32's. Tom

 

I sent you some that I had from a Harbor Freight kit - they didn't fit? HF sells a selection of them in the same box that you can pick from.

Edit: Should have been in a small ziplock bag in one of the 5 boxes you got from me.

Hmm, okay. The container from HF definitely has the right size you need cause that's where I sourced the one that was on there. Sorry about that!
