Trying to get everything together to make sure I have everything for the build. I have a question about the wastegate actuator on a T25 from an SR20. I think it's a .46/.80 but haven't looked at it for some time. Are they preset to open for a certain pressure? Can I change the pressure via different springs or actuators or length of the arm? I don't know how these things actually work.
I am starting at 6 PSI for now. I will be building a MBC. I know that it won't do a lot at 6 PSI, but I assume with a wastegate set to open at 6 the thing would start creeping open almost immediately.
Also, is Tuner Toys about the best/most reasonable to get all of the water/oil fittings that I need for the turbo? Everything is missing. I know that they have the return flanges. I assume that they offer the stainless lines as well?
Getting close here, just a few odds and ends, plus BEGi finishing the Zoom3 and I can get building.

Stock it should open at 7psi or very close. You can cut and thread the wg rod to make it adjustable to a certain degree. I personally would not recommend it tho. There are aftermarket wg like HKS that are adjustable. IMO I'd keep it stock and use an EBC for better result.

I figured it was around 7, but wanted to be able to back it off to 6, or whatever I can get it to run with acceptable IAT's without an IC. If I understand correctly, I can't get it to open earlier (lower pressure) with an EBC or MBC, only later (higher pressure), correct?

Well, as opposed to buying an adjustable WG, I might as well spend that $ to ebay IC the thing. Seems silly to spend money to go slower. Might as well do it, tune it for whateve the WG opens at, set the MBC at that level and just baby the clutch.
