Wastegate solution for sr20 turbo

4 Attachment(s)
So for a couple years i've been using a sr20 turbo. When I first turboed my car I couldn't find an effective way to mount the wastegate. I ended up being very ghetto and used JBweld. Surprisingly it has worked almost flawlessly for 2 years (it cracked once). Fast forward to present day, I've built my motor and wanted to mount my wastegate properly.

Here are the parts i used.
Rod extension kit for Internal wastegates : atpturbo.com
Wastegate Actuator with ROD END, 28RS style, 14 PSI : atpturbo.com
Garrett Adjustable Wastegate Bracket : atpturbo.com

I had to cut the bracket to make space for the oil feed and drill at tap the compressor housing. Now I have it mounted and it almost looks like it was always supposed to be there.

Just thought I'd post my solution, just in case others were having issues.

Saw this post and picked up the same bracket to redo my SR20 wastegate setup as well. Thanks for the heads up.

how deep can you drill the compressor housing there before poking thru? assuming you don't hit the C clip? Can you just cut and weld or JB weld the oem wastegate rod?

Anymore info on this? I feel I will be running into this issue here very soon and would love a lil help.

I found the bracket mentioned above does not match the sr20 t25 turbo compressor housing diameter. I wound up modifying the bracket that comes with the turbo and tapping the compressor housing to relocate it. Very hard to measure how deep u can drill before poking through the housing so be careful.
