i want to make something similar to this elbow begi includes in their "water bypass system" in preparation for a bottom-mount setup.

my car is my dd and i want to make this piece outside the car and be able to bolt in in right after i take the stock one out ideally. I am looking for the flange dimensions where it bolts to the engine, should be all i beed, thanks.

 

I think some people just reverse this and drill/tap new fittings for the water

 

yeah, i'm just trying to decrease downtime due to my hectic time constraints. I dont want to explain but it's easier to fab a part and install it than to take it off, mod it, and reinstall.
