A 1:1 most likely.

IE: a rising rate fpr?
when tightening the top screw in fitting, it sounds like its compressing a spring... thats what throws me off... i suppose i'll dissect it and find out... |

the same one i have:
Attachment 206391 1:1, designed to replace the oem. If you have a greddy with stock injectors, you dont want to use that... read my FAQ. |
its not going to be a greddy turbo setup. i'm working on a custom build from the manifold up, utilizing a scrapped wrx td04l turbo... planned on using a pair on my thunderbird, but found a much more suitable one for it, and decided i wanted to turbo the miata.. after a little research, i discovered it was a decent match..
the setup will be as follows, just to get it rolling: tdo4 turbo at stock wastegate setting, about 6-7 psi, with 30 lb/hr injectors and a fpr, static timing at 6* cooled with an egay intercooler, all through a 3" madrel bent exhaust with a dynomax bullet and a borla can. target is 150hp. i'll then up the ante with 16-18 psi, megasquirt standalone 42 lb/hr injectors and 190lph hp fuel pump (see, i DID read your faq... a couple times ;)) adding a 1.8 clutch and flywheel, and either a late model rear end or a ford 8.8" target is 250 hp. i do know where i'm going... if i'll ever get off my ass and finish the manifold i started. oh... and my target price for all of this complete is 500 bucks. then i'll finish up the rebuild on my supercoupe motor to be ready to drop in with a big honkin turbo.... target is 500-600 hp...... from a v6. |
