wideband display v. 2.0
My voltmeter wasnt displaying the output from my LM-1 accurately. Some A/F's would show ok but others wouldnt. Shitty chinese voltmeter.
Went to Auburn, AL this weekend and reunited with an old friend - my long lost custom remote LM-1 display. It was a good bit of work and involved hacking my LM-1 all to hell. Thought the display was forever lost but I gots it back and installed it in the miata tonite. Also made a cool spot to mount my LM-1. Still have to tuck wires and run the LM-1 it's own 12v.

Basically what I did is disassemble the LM-1, found the closest match to the display on mouser.com and then I cut the wires going to the stock display in the LM-1 and attached them to a male printer cable connector and attached a female connector to both the mouser display and the stock display, so I can switch back and forth from the internal to external.
I don't know much about electronics - just enough to get myself into trouble. If Im not mistaken, the controller is on-board with the displays - if that makes sense anyways. It's only like 17 wires.
Need to get a new sensor though, mine's getting a bit flakey and has been passed around more than..[think of someone clever and insert here]
Edit: Found some pics of when I made the external display connectors

It's pretty sweet. It's got an OK tune on it but its still too rich in boost. I thought I had the narrowband manipulation fixed but I realized last night I dont. ECU is still striving for stoich under 4k. Pain in the ***. Gonna re-check my wiring for the o2 tonite. If I cant figure it out, im gonna put a pressure switch that opens a circuit at like 0.1psi to remedy that.
I gotta send away for some free wires from AEM that'll allow me to datalog my A/F along with everything else. With a laptop you can datalog all channels basically forever.
