I realize that the majority of my threads are "please help me my car is dying" threads and sadly this one is no different. After starting my car it revs to about 2 grand and then dies. BUT if I give it gas to around 2k it will maintain that "idle" and not die. Once the car warms up everything seems to be fine. And under 2k if I try to hold the rpm at say 1800 the revs drop even though I am keeping throttle constant. I think it's either my AFM or my bov leaking. I have been working 40 plus hours a week and going to school so diagnostic time has been very limited. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please feel free to chime in. Thanks.

I think it's the ssqv bov. It vents even when i go from 3/4 to 1/4 throttle...

 

Just a thought: List some details about your car in either this thread or your signature. Its pretty hard to diagnose **** over the internet when we have no ******* clue what you are running.

Year/ECU/FI setup/Etc.
