Worth Keeping and persevering or scrap and start over
So I was given a turbo but not told what it came off of. .42 cold side and .48 hot side (I think). The turbines are good and no shaft play, so I would love to be able to use it but there seem to be a bunch of issues. First off is the manifold flange. I believe it's a TK100 ( http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/tk100p.jpg ) but I can't find a manifold for this anywhere, not even a plate that I could weld into a DIY log manifold ( Mazworx - Mazworx Log Manifold Kit, 4 Cylinder #LOG4 ) . I could probably get something CNC cut, but that could possibly be expensive. Next is the exhaust. Its a standard 5 bolt but the the wastegate block off is within the downpipe piece I also have. The issue with this is the downpipe piece has a sort of ball joint type exit end. I can't find much info on this, or anyone that wants to fabricate off of it to a downpipe. A possible solution for this could be ( T3 T3/T4 5 Bolt Turbo Downpipe Flange To 2.5" V-Band Conversion Adaptor Kit Set | eBay ). Theseare the main issues I've ran into so far and am just debating if it's worth it to keep or scrap. I'm on a fairly tight budget which would likely lead me to a chinacharger if I had to buy something new. I would love to use this but am not sure how worth it it is. Just looking for advice or links to solutions or even just spit balling ideas of what might work. Thanks!

You should totally keep trying to find a way to make this work instead of applying any of the tried and true set ups that have proven to be affordable. DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO TRIES TO TELL YOU OTHERWISE. The satisfaction of spending a bunch of time and money over the long term to make your free turbo work is priceless.

I just figured maybe somebody else had a similar situation and had figured out a semi-simple solution. I have began to come to the conclusion that it would just be more simple to go a different route, but I wanted to see if there was some idea I was missing that would make this worth it. Maybe someone who has a decent amount of turbo exhaust fabrication experience could know where to look for or where to find what I would need.
