super small port for a t3

cjernigan 01-27-2008 06:30 PM

The bolt pattern is for a T3, the port is small obviously because they didn't use box tubing that matches the T3 turbine inlet instead of that puny piece of pipe. Can u haz flowz restricionz? I particularly like the head flange, the started cutting it and stopped on both sides.

ghetto, but better than SS autochrome.

Loki047 01-27-2008 07:37 PM

Haha I think thats the manifold i made in school

Loki047 01-27-2008 07:40 PM

Yeah it was a t3 "50" regular t3 manifold flanges but weird ass dp flanges.

Yeah i was lazy and just wanted it on the car, i also used hydraulic lines for oil lines and sewage couplers for intercooler piping.

The tube was what i had left over :) cheaper than box tubing. Plus it was a tiny turbo.

you as ghetto as that thing is, I may still get it. I been looking for a cheap T3 1.6L manifold.

Loki style here I come... lol

just be aware it needs a custom d/p

But its got half inch flanges that were milled true. and schedule 40 runners

Increased velocity and heat, i dont see a problem....under 4k ;)

Mach929 01-28-2008 12:37 PM

just redo the turbo flange and it would be a nice manifold

Well I have a T3 turbo, not matter what manifold I going to need a custom DP.

just redo the turbo flange and it would be a nice manifold
That is my opinion also.

Begi makes a T3 manifold and a downpipe for them as well. Just have to call and ask for it.

it may be a custom BEGi DP, but nothing they they couldn't whip up easily for you and send it along with your manifold.

Out of all the work put into that thing the manifold flange cut out on the bandsaw looks like a fifthgrader did it? Talk about going outside the lines!
