Default Yet another intercooler mounting thread.

So, I went to try and mount my intercooler today and the only way I saw it fitting was to mount it in at the very front, right before the plastic bumper. As shown below. The problem is, this is going to require me to cut the majority of the "mouth" on my bumper, down to like a 1/2" from flush. Anyone care to offer any other suggestions before I start cutting her up?

According to the ad I bought if from on here (TheBirdmanJD), the intercooler core measures 21.5" x 7" x 27". Car is a 2000.

Sorry for the shitty pictures, my phone lens was dirty.

Doesn't seem right. Maybe this is just a really wide FMIC. Your quoted dimensions don't quite make sense to me.

See my build thread on how I mounted mine.

Others have hung them on straps from the brace in front of the radiator.

Yeah, I copied those dimensions from the PM the guy I bought it from sent, and somehow completely missed how wrong they are. Let me measure it here in a bit. I'll check your build thread, I just don't see it fitting with all the a/c bits.

I removed the P/S cooler and replaced it with a small finned cooler to make space.
