yeah, I saw it. I was the one asking there also. Are you running NA or turbo?

Thanks,

Rafa

I dont have the base map. I have a built NA motor with a 99 head, OS valves, higher compression, etc, etc. When I asked Jerry if my map would be a good, conservative base map for others to start from he said "yeah, fall on your face conservative!"

the 94-95 engine is not much different than the 96-97 except a half point of compression I think, so it probably will not be much different.

It's 2/10ths of a point, and the switch was 3/95 so half the 95 cars have the true 9.0:1 motors vs. the early 1.8s having the 8.8:1 pistons.

I helped install an MM9697 beta a few weeks ago, so they're either putting the finishing touches on or they are waiting on a supplier for cases or something. Either way, it's gonna be soon.

I would imagine that it's going to be real soon. I just got mine back from DIY which they were using as a mule to get everything perfect. Jerry's got the PNP running real smooth on my stock 97. Got it to pull 116 whp with the maf.

We're getting the final production version of the circuit board printed up, so expect them for sale in February.

FYI there are nothing but pre-release maps out there right now, things could be tweaked a bit here and there...

I don't understand why you're so nuts about getting this MSQ. A working MSQ that your car would run great on given some "fine tuning" is and has been available for a long while. The 94/95 map is a great place to start.

If you need just some MSQ to start, the '94-'95 map will get you in the ballpark for a stock '96-'97. While the two maps are not quite the same and you will need some fine tuning, a '96-'97 car can run on the older map.

^ Yea, hes right. I started with the 94/95 map and my cars is running great. The only thing thats pissing me off is the AE settings which I would love to see from the 96/97 map.
