How hard would it be to get this to work with a Hydra 2.7? Would especially be nice for AF.

Your best bet is to contact Perfect Tuning...

They list several options for their gauge kits, not sure which might work with Hydra... https://perfecttuning.net/en/22-gauge

I sent them a message. I'll post the answer in case anybody with a Hydra wants to know.

I can report that mine survived it's first trackday, and did exactly what I needed it to do. Didn't test the warnings, though... car ran great.
