Default 127mph 1/4 mile

Best et and mph of the night. Soft launch, bad short track but 127mph means shes making some decent power. Especially for stock pistons

Daaaaaaaamn dude. Stock nb1 pistons? Ever been on a dyno, or any virtual dyno graphs? Curious what kinda power this thing must be making for that trap speed.

No dyno. Im thinking in the 475whp range. Plus or minus 10

It's that a typo? 127 mph is about right for 375 whp. Definitely not 475.

Very impressive!
You can get 11.0-11.2 with sticky tires like that Rudnik kid.

I had slicks on. Just didnt launch hard bc i didnt wamt to break anything my first time out. 127 mph with a really good 60' is a high 10 sec pass.

My goal for the night was 130mph but its not making the power for that. I need to set up ffs

Yeah if you punch your stats into those weight + trap speed to power calculators, if you're 2300lbs with driver in the car they're all spitting out numbers of around 365whp.

First off, congrats. 127 is MOOOVING, and in a miata its absolutely mental. IMO anything over 120 trap in a miata feels like rocket-ship speed.
Trap speed does kinda point towards high 300's/low 400's power, but if you launched it soft and didn't FFS that might explain it.

Bay looks fantastic as always. Out of curiosity: how much of a pain is having it dump fumes into your face? Do you street drive this car?

Do those calculators account for shitty-for-drag-racing gearing and aerodynamic capabilities similar to that of a brick?

Either way, definitely not 475whp. I'm guessing 400whp.

Thanks! From everything I've read and compared to similar setups etc. i feel like i have to making over 450whp. Gtx30 at 26psi and e85 ignition timing + honda intake manifold. If its not over 400 then i should probably compression test. Ill have to dyno soon to get answers

As far as the exhaust, the only negative is the volume. I street drive occasionally to datalog/test and the fumes are non existent.

Wow, good job!
I have to agree with 18, 120 in a Miata is pretty scary, but fun too.

Here is the run. 2 step at 5500rpm. Doesnt build boost. I basically dumped the clutch, it spun immediately. Then hooked and bogged. I have a lot of work to do on the launch and shifting. Hooking up ffs right now. Hoping for mid 11s and 130mph the next time I go

Jeezus that's moving. I trap about that on the bike and i'm in the 10s. If you can get that thing to launch it would be one fast car.

My car will never be that low or that "slow".

It gives me inspiration though!

Awesome. That thing is putting down some serious power. Very clean under the hood too. Congrats!

So here's my latest pass. Went 128.87. Would've went 130+ but I hit rev limiter in 4th before the finish.

I cant get the car to hook up. As you can see in video, it spins off the line then bogs 2nd gear.

To launch I would go full throttle on launch control (4500rpm) then release the clutch pedal until the car moved forward then dump it the rest of the way. Spun every time even at 4000rpm
