Default first 1/4mi on boosted setup - 13.91 @ 103.3

best run of the night was a 13.91 @ 103.3 :-) i'm a pretty happy camper considering i've been seeing boost hit about 12 - 1.5 psi by 4000 - 4200 and then watching 3 - 4 psi bleed off between 5k and 7k.

i'm still also using the ultra conservative DIY spark map, and figure there's a bit more to gain there.

plus my 60' times were horrid. that run was a 2.37. other gems include 2.400, 2.42, 2.39, etc...

best trap of the night was 104.2, so i'm pretty happy :-)

You must have pretty good top end. Your MPH was 103 which is good for mid 13's if you can get a good 60ft. Do miata trannys like slicks?

I autocross with them and havent blown one yet. However, a hard launch on a sticky set may grenade the tiny NA rear.
Look for a set of used tires from your local SCCA site.

wrong kind of slicks for drag racing... you'd be better off with RA-1s

Understood, but they're better than street tires but not as hardcore as drag slicks. I know my car launches much better on my Hoosiers A6' than it does on my Azenis which launch better than the Kumho AST's I use for normal dalily stuff.

edited for grammar.
