Default Gt2560r 300whp Flyin Miata / flexfuel megasquirt

My 300whp NA (virtual dyno).

Ms3pro
id1050x
450lph e85 pump
DiY EBC
gm flex sensor
flyin miata gt2560r turbo kit and intercooler
20psi with as linear as a torque curve as I could get.
Straight flat roads with fresh pavement, this is the avg number from many pulls. Assuming a dyno to be around 280whp.

5 speed or 6 speed? What gear?

This thing looks like it hits full boost 1000 revs after my 2871. Seems like a lot even if it's an NA vs NB motor. Is your motor built?

Looks like 35-72 from 4K-7K rpms. Why do you ask? I can send data log if you want to look something over.

5spd, I do both 3rd and 4th with consistent numbers. I had a couple 370whp and cant account for the variations but otherwise car is pretty consistent.

I've tapered the boost curve to manage the torque spike and flatten the curve. Stock NA8 motor. When I run without boost table it winds up very quickly but tapers off.

Just curious. I have a 2560r with 640 ev14's at 93 octane,12 psi, original pump. Haven't checked in a bit but I think I'm in the low 80's.

Just curious - I ran a 2560 and found it to run out of breath above 16/18psi. I didn't think these could hit 300hp. Can you share your intake air temps at 20psi? Is your turbo pushing hot air at that point?

What size exhaust are you running?

Seems to spool a bit late.
a 2560 should hit 200tq at around 3200-3400rpm.
and 2700lbs for na with driver seems a bit high, did you weight the car?

my nb2 is 2500lbs. I would think na should be about 2350.

extra weight props up the dyno numbers

I'm also curious and want to know/hear more as this is eventually what I'd like to do with my set up in the future.

I also agree 2700 lbs seems high, I know some of us are "built" different than others... But maybe he had a passenger?

There have been a couple people that hit over 300whp on these turbos, although its very rare and usually is on a setup with a better flowing exhaust manifold design. I personally run a GT2560R on a FM manifold and run 17-18psi on 93 octane. I havent had it on the dyno yet but it feels like a solid 270-290whp but thats my butt dyno.

Nice looking plot, although it can definitely pick up some lowend torque if you wanted it to. 300 is certainly possible at full tilt and on good fuel. clean car btw

I think he said he was on a stock engine, i agree that it needs more low end but I bet the stock rods would be really pissy.

I think I'm closer to 340 when it's turned up. And yeah, it's just blowing wind past 20psi.

Youre making 340 on a GT2560? The compressor literally cant do that but ok....any VD or dyno chart on it?

That's what VD gives me. I do know I'm at 100% duty cycle with 750cc injectors.

All VD gives me is a weird discharge.
