M45 results with rudimentary engine management and E85
2 Attachment(s)
Here are my results from the M45 setup back when I was at 5.5 psi and then at around 8.5 to 9.0 psi from upgraded pulleys. This is all non-intercooled on E85 running an old school non-adjustable power card and RX8 injectors.
https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...new-vs-old-jpg I am temporarily without forced induction since I sold the M45 and am awaiting delivery of my BEGI S6 system. While waiting I am tuning the naturally aspirated portion of my MS3 maps... I am considering doing a dyno run just for shits and giggles after I finalize the naturally aspirated tune on E85. What year car and engine? Any bolts on's currently? I'd be curious to see the NA E85 plot.

I actually really wanna see the N/A E85 results.

In for NA E85 dyno that is higher than the M45@5.5psi.

There was an article in grassroots a while back where they dyno ed a miata running MS with a bunch of different fuels. The E85 made power even without boost.

I am shooting for 12.5:1 A/F ratio (measured on a gasoline scaled wide band) and aggressive timing. If I do take it to the dyno, it will not be a tuning session, just blowing $85 to satisfy my curiosity. Keith |
