I was actually JUST reading some of your old posts on miata.net..

I was curious about your b6t rods you are running those high numbers with. I just bought a set I was hoping to use (although not quite that high of numbers)

Did you do anything extra to them before putting them in or did you just bolt them in with your new pistons? I plan on running them with stock pistons in my 1.6 until I save enough for forged.

Thanks.

P.S. awesome car
P.S.S. my friend has an s2000 and he has all his turbo stuff sitting in my garage that we will be installing this weekend or next.

The B6T rods ARE forged man. I belive them to be very strong as i did a lot of reading about them. I had mine shot peened. This helps the rod stay just a little stronger under load. I reused the rob bolts, but if I was you I would use ARP rod bolts in them. They are a little heavier than stock and aftermarket rods so you dont wanna rev much past 7200rpm with them. They held 300whp for 2 years and I wasnt nice to it.
