N/A NA8 Bolt-ons+exhintake+MS2
Just got dyno tuned and made 139 on a DYNAPACK dyno at Church Automotive Testing in LA. The goal for this car has always been reliable track day fun, so I'm probably never going to get into building a motor or turbo or anything like that.
I thought this info would be useful to anyone with similar goals...
-'97 NA8 with good compression (105k miles)
-CA 91 gas
-RB header
-FM exhaust with high flow cat
-DIY intake/cone filter
-Exhintake cam swap
-PNP MS2
-Coolant Reroute
-A/C & PS delete
-Tuned by Church Automotive Testing
the GTR next bay over was making 780.

I'm thinking about doing a N/A build on my NB2. Do you know how much the car was making before the modifications? How does the car feel in comparison to how it was before? Anything you would have done differently? I've heard things about Church Automotive, you think you got your monies worth?
949 racing did a N/A build, I remember reading that they put some sort of heat reflecting material over the intake, reducing heat soak. Might help you too since you plan on tracking the car.
Thanks.

Not sure about HP before getting tuned... The butt dyno noticed a pretty decent gain though, the car definitely pulls much better above 4k.
I think I got my money's worth... I was struggling with tuning the megasquirt, and couldn't get my idle sorted, etc. anyways church got everything running well and properly tested on a dyno. I m guessing they could dial the car better in an hour than I could in a month. What's your time worth?
I'll probably do some header wrap and maybe a cold air box for the intake once it starts getting hot out here. temps don't seem to be an issue right now.
