LOL, yea the hydra scared the crap outta me. haha. I was all ready to make big power 400whp or so and I just decided I wanted to do something different. The s2k was a dream car of mine when it first came out, i couldnt pass up owning one.

haha trust me i know all about it man. I have done my research after all, know thats a weak link. Im going to beef up the stock diff down the road...yes keeping the stock diff. There is a guy in florida who builds them, about 2k later its bulletproof...or at least people making 600whp on stock motors arent breaking them yet.

So I'm going to spew some newbery here...

Explain how a well sorted out 1.9L on 18psi makes 296hp, and a 2.0L on 18 psi makes 480hp.

I mean, I realized there are TONS of factors that play into this but, being I know jack about Honda's, wtf gives? Do those cars just really respond that much better?

Nice s2k. Yeah I had a couple of buddies who have turbo s2k and they have both upgraded their diffs. But one of them is making over 600hp with a custom turbo kit believe the turbo is a twin scroll Gt40r with 2 wastegates. It is sick but he is trying to sell it. To get a Nsx. His s2k was featured as a cover in modified mag last year and in their calender.

Extremely high compression, vvt, way better heads, 9k rev limit, and a real ecu vs piggyback setup?

The short answer is the head flows WAAAYYY better and will digest all a bigger turbo will give it much easier.
