Default Stock internal nb2 1/8th mile.

Took the car out to its second 1/8th mile event. 2001 nb2 unopened vvt engine, 6 speed/3.9, 2560r w/ billet compressor wheel, e85, ms3, and 225 federals. Its full weight with a/c and p/s. Honestly car ran better than i thought it would. Makes 272whp at 15psi, pretty strong taper to keep torque low. 10 psi at 4k and 15 by 6k.

Any guesses to what the car would run 1/4 mile? Pretty consistent under 8.3

Also tips and recommendations on getting the time down. Obviously more power would have to wait for a built engine. But car hooks well with LC at 4700Rpm.

That's a really good time. Probably a mid/low 12 in the 1/4 I would bet.

It would go 12.6-12.7 if you can replicate that 60' time.

Thats what i was hoping for. It seemed like people were having a hard timing getting there on stock engines, but most were not hooking really

Thats what i was hoping for. I honestly could get it down lower, ran out of time but kept turning launch control up and leaving on more boost and the car was taking it. Id be stoked to run even a 12.7 with a heavy nb2. Car leaves 1.9 regularly and 2.0 is usually a crap launch.

That should easily be mid 12s at about 113+mph.
