Boomslang harness on a 1.6 1991
How many of you guys with a 1.6 have used/fitted a EMB using a boomslang harness?
Was it 100% pnp?- if not which wiring did ya have to alter? Reason i,m asking is i have recently been trying to fit a EMB to a 1991 1.6- but with issues (ie not pnp- had to snip TPS wire, cant see rpm/duty cycle on emb support tool) Ive tried x2 stock ECU,s which work in other miata,s /mx5,s, and x2 EMB ,s that work in other miata,s /mx5,s and the problem only arises when i introduce the boomslang into the equation. Anyone had these issues - or is the harness possibly faulty! |
i have a bloomslang harness for a NB and it works fine on a EMU.

There was a issue with the TPS connection
if I remember correct. They had it on wrong pin. But I was told, they solved this meanwhile. Falk |
