Ok I am going to be using the EMB and want to be clear that I am correct in my research.

I have the EMB main unit
I will be ordering the Boomslang Harness so I do not have to chop up my factory harness.
o2 sensor clamp triggered by the vtec function using either FM or oldmans''s unit.
Solder in the 1k resistor following the guide on 24/7

Setting up the unit the dials should be "3 A 0"

Anything I am missing? I have the Aem wideband to tune it and will use a base map to start with.

I actually just got my turbo on 3 days ago and use an EMB.

I never had to wire in the resistor. 3 A 0 is correct. I have a boomslang, was a great investment. I am probably going to get an O2 clamp myself unless I can find a way to solve the issue with the EMB.

One thing I am also considering is getting a MAP sensor to tune with. To get it running quick, I'm using the add. injection map and throttle position. I'm going to see if tuning against the AFM is easier...if not, MAP sensor it is.

Anyways, sounds like you're ready to go.

I forgot to mention that this is for a 99, I will be looking into the homemade gm MAP sensor.
