Emanage Ultimate: Error "Low Vtec Input"
Hi folks,
erverytime I start my car I get the error message "Low Vtec input below 1000rpm". And the main unit is starting to flash red in short intervall. Has anyone before experienced this error? I changed my EMB harness to be a EMU harness (added Connector C and wired all the extra lines) I have no wire in Pin 13, which would be the VTEC input. But we don't need this wire anyway, don't we?! Help is appreciated. EMU is working fine in every other way. Greets |
Maybe a Jumper is wrong.
Check JP10 Check JP16 Make sure they are right, both should be Open. |
But I use the VTEC out as trigger for my O2clamp. So at least jumper 10 should be 1-2 or not? Because I think if I set Jp 0 to open the aux output will not be triggered?!

Here is a little picture of the error message
http://www.ingenieure-reichel.de/upl...error_vtec.jpg Still haven't got a clue. Jp 10 at 2-3 (for O2clamp aux map) JP 16 open (Karman in) JP 17 open or 1-2 (no change) Greets |
do you have a pic of your auxiliary map? i had this error before but am not sure how i solved it i just cant remember now

could it have something to do with when the clamp is opened? it seems like its the only time its giving you the reading....
are there any other channels you can use? |
Well, no there is no other channel I can use - because this is the only chanle with the dedicated on/off map.
Error seems to come once after startup - not again during driving. I don't think it is connected with the switching of the O2clamp. Funny thing is - the channel for the O2clamp is the Vtec output channel - VTec input isn't even connected at my EMU. |
