Fuel injectors: rated vs benched
1 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,
So I got some 330(326)cc injectors from a 626 turbo and had them cleaned and tested. The results are Attachment 214452 Am I reading this right? 95 X 4 = 380?! If they are flowing at 380cc then can I plug in 380cc in the E-manage or should I leave it at 330? |
Man, those are some good injectors flowing that well within each other. Good thing you got them serviced, injector 1 was bad news.
I would enter the actual flow rate. |
nice, (4) 380cc injectors.
1mL = 1cc 60sec / 15sec = 4 96 x 4 = 380 :bang: |
Where did you have yours done. I have a set of 460's I need to get done.

www.cruzinperformance.com
is where I got mine done but you can also send it to www.witchhunter.com. They are both the same price I think. Just send them both an email to see what their workload is like. I know for mine it was about 3 day turn around AFTER he received them. |
my GTX 330's flowed about 380cc from memory also..i wondered if the injector place wasnt doing the tests right so i had them do it again....seems to be the norm for these...

Doesn't that depend on the pressure you use?

I think I need to go out back in the yard and pull the injectors off my 626 turbo's!

Greets yes 43.5psi, it's called standards of measurements....interesting concept. |
Silly me... of course it should be like this.
I was confused by the discussions about how much the injectors really flow in the car (because of the fuel pressure). Sorry. |
hey 4sfed5,
When I get my injectors I'll have exactly the same set up as you, RX-7 AFM, injectors, etc. If you're also using Autotune can I get a copy of your map? Thanks, t.t. |
im not running auto tune and have done a bit of adjusting of the afm but if you like i can send you my maps
