Default Greddy MAP sensor help

Just got this from another Emu user who upgraded to a Gotec Pro X

GreddyMAP.jpg

Anybody know where there is a wiring guide or which wire is which? I have been using a 2bar Webber.

I have searched - honest.

Wires are red, yellow & black.

thanks

Nick, shouldn't the wires be similar to the gm one.... power, ground, sensor?

Is there anything online on the greddy site? Have you checked the yahoogroups?

Yup, but not sure which is which. Can't find anything. Eyes aching and fingers hurting from searching these past few days.

Actually I am moving the sensor on to the guy who bought the Emu as he has the harness the sensor clips straight into. Going to stick with my 2bar webber unless another comes along with instructions as I won't be going over 15psi .... just yet. Want to map my Aquamist to the 5th injector output on the Emu and then a smaller nose wheel a set of 450s then maybe fit the intercooler with the dual t/b mod. I have all the bits apart from the extra throttle pulley.

Thanks anyway, weren't you on the old BRP forum from time to time?

Who me? Na, I would have never hung out on the brp board. <G>

Hum.... going to go for one of the dual TBs? Going to get it from Phil? I would love to see some documentation on that, since we I haven't been able to find anything.... Of course shippping from that side of the pond could be "nuts"....

I've thrown the TDR on the car, and still running with the stocker 77.5mm pulley. Got a 72.5mm from James, if I want to try to see what ~8 intercooled is like. <G>

Quick searching, I found that "pressure" sensor is a better thing to search for.... However could you give the sensor 12v and ground, and a vac source, and test with a volt metre, which one is the sensor output?

I hang out a lot on the uk MX5Nutz forum mainly these days. Helpful and friendly crowd but not as learned as some of the guys here. I miss the BRP forum, all that useful and innovative reference info gone ....

Homebrew Dual t/b info here:

Dual Throttle Mod - MX5Nutz

and here:

M45 Dual Throttle Body Mod Complete!! - MX5Nutz

lots more stuff there too if you search.

Phil does do a kit but it's not up on his website, drop him an email if you want one - or phone - really helpful guy, sometimes too honest.

MX-5 performance parts, suspension, shocks, superchargers, turbochargers, exhausts, brakes and servicing - Performance 5

Looks like the guy who wanted my used sensor may not want it so I will have another look with the new word.

Thanks for the pointers Nick, I'll take a gander....

Yeah, I miss some of the info on the BRP forums too. There was some valuable info there....

I'll poke around "da-google" this afternoon and see what I can find....
