Need some advice
 

So, my turbo is screaming at me. VERY little shaft play and a bit of smoke at cold start, but that clears up very quickly. dont realy know what the issue is, but i am almost 100% sure that the sound is coming from the turbo.

I dont really want to deal with this turbo, because it sucks. Its a tdo4 9g, and it seems like its so damned small it would be better for a motorcycle. I would rather wait till I get my tax return, combine it with some money I am trying to hide from myself, and get a greddy, or begi kit (I live in california so i want carb sticker, fucking sherrifs roll around in pairs around here)

I dont need advice on which kit to buy (I want begi if i can save enough:rolleyes:)

I am wondering weather it is worth it to hook up the emb I just bought and play with it while i am na?(I am planning on buying a wideband as soon as I get paid for a freelance job that is in progress)

i say do it...im curious what a 9g turbo looks like. that sounds like its REALLY really small

it is small, I am exaggerating a bit though, compared to na, its fucking great, winds out 5th gear like nothing(is300s watch out, and on that subject, will all you motherfuckers in 4banger accords please stop fucking with me, your just going to embarrass yourself). It works fine at 5 to 6 psi, I have not pushed it past that yet because i have no ic right now. Im sure It would still be fun at 8 to 10 psi, but i imagine its pretty useless after that. nice quick spool though, even with my stock exhaust(spools sometime between 2 and 2.5k)

Will probably rebuild the turbo and sell the kit cheap as fuck on here so someone can get some jollies out of it after I figure out what direction I am going(unless I find an old p.o.s. escort gt to play with:)

Install the EMB, you can still play with timing and learn the software. If you have a WBO2 you migh be able to adjust your fueling as well.
And my T25 is probably just as small, it's still fun...
