99 no spark/no fuel fuel inj fuse blows immediately
I'm having a issue on my 99.
I redid rod bearings in it and tossed the motor back in and now I have a no start condition. The car ran fine before the rebuild so it's clearly something I did. The fuel inj fuse pops almost immediately. Before it blows, everything appears to work, pump kicks on and I get a check engine light with key in run position. When the fuse blows I get no fuel pump obviously, and no check engine light along with no spark. Does this seem proper? |
something on the your white/red or white/blue power wires is shorted.

Where should I be looking for these? I know I banged the ppf frame up a little trying to get it back in. Are they located there?

both cam sensors, fuel pump relay, VIC, EGR valve, MAF, purge solenoid, egr solenoid, Canister Drain Cut Valve, tank pressure control valve, injectors.

Thanks a lot. I'll check when I get done with work. I had a sneaky suspicion it has to be something to do with the loom that runs over the top of the injectors.

Just wanted to give a big thanks. I found the fault. I pinched a wire for the crank sensor in the pan when I put it back on. What a amature mistake. I wouldve been looking at my fuel pump for a long time had you not responded.
