I remember reading a bunch of Fredio54's posts on FreeEMS over on mx6.com, which was his home base for quite some time.
I remember being mildly intrigued, then horrified at how far i had to nerd out just to understand 20% of what was being talked about. And at that point decided that something like that just wasn't for me. |

I think a true open source ECU sounds great, the license on the MegaSquirt is far from open.

Well done russian, your work is inspirational. Obviously you have talent in spades.
Most people could assemble a kit ecu where as very few have what it takes to design one. I would be happy to be a beta tester. |
