Is there any way I can give an ECU 12V safely to re set a base map? I have a LINK MK2 and want to make sure everything in regards to the base map is where I need it to be before I install it. Since th einstall is fairly in depth and involves cutting/moving wires, if I run into problems which make the car un driveable when I put the LINK in, it's not as simple as just swapping the stock ECU back in.
