Crimp Connectors (ECU wiring)

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I have a problem installing my new ECU. I need wiring new sensors (tps, ebc, Knock sensor) my car is 1.6 91 and some connector slots are empty my ecu. I need to purchase terminals that fit with the spades and my connector (harness)

I have searched this topic in the forum, but have not found any serial number or link.

My ECU has two measures of spades, wide and narrow. I think you need the Connector that are on this list, but I can not identify.

Anyone know the reference or where I can buy the terminals?

Thanks!

Check out the FAQ wiki at: http://miataturbo.wikidot.com/harness-assembly

First, being a boomslang. This allows you to plug your MS wiring in between the ecu and factory wiring so the installation can be completely reversible without damage to the factory harness. This method should stop being utilized.

to build yours you'll need to follow parts:

(1) 64 Pin Male connector (174518-7)
(1) 26 Pin Female connector (174516-6)
(1) 22 Pin Female connector (174515-6)
(32) .040" Contacts (175061-1)
(16) .070" Contacts (173631-6)
96-97 add:

(16) .040" Contacts (175061-1)
(1) 16 Pin Female connector (174514-6)
all part numbers are tyco / amp, and can be purchased at places like onlinecomponents.com. See tycoelectronics.com for more vendors and availability. this should run you $20-$30.

Are you saying we should stop buying the boomslang and just build our own, or we should stop trying to fabricate our own connectors with spade terminals etc?

I am missing you here...

EDIT: I see, you just quoted the wiki. Does anyone have any idea of what part number the ECU connector is for 2001-2005?
