Default E85 First Tank

I'm going to give E85 a try and thought I'd seek some advise on that first fill up. I've read about tuning the car, adding fuel, timing, etc, but haven't seen anything mentioned regarding the process of swapping fuels.

The logical side of me says, "Buy gas, bring it home, put in car and try to get it to run." While the lazy side says, "Drive til empty, fill up at pump, swap tunes and drive home."

Is it stupid to expect the car to fire up and run without any issues after swapping fuels? I'd also thought about just putting in a gallon or 2 of E85 on top of my "empty" tank of 93, bumping up the fuel map 20% and putting around to let them mix. Then topping off with E85 and adding more fuel to the tune. At least that way if I did run into a problem after adding a gallon of E85 I could always just top the tank off with 93 and it should be fine.

I don't know if I'm way over thinking this or if I'm about to do something really stupid. Thoughts? Personal experiences?

I have done both, both work.

drive to station with as little gas as possible, fill up full tank, drop req fuel accordingly and drive home is the easiest.

IF you wanna be OCD disconnect the fuel line, go into "testing" settings in ms and activate fuel pump. Pump all of it out within a minute or two. Reconeect the line and voila.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to hear. I'll just drive up there and top her off.

You're welcome and make sure to post videos once you retune. Corn is going to knock your socks off
You can start by pretty much adding 5*-10* in boost, everywhere. car is going to be nasty
