Default Which ECU is this ?

Hello Turbo fans,

A few years ago I friend of mine get this stand alone ECU and just gave it to me.
Further we don't know anything about this unit so maybe anyone here on this forum knows which ECU this is?

Because of the stikker on it it seemed it was sold by BBR-GTi.
I already send a mail to BBR-GTi with the same question but till now no answer ( maybe they are still on a 2017 new years after party )
Because I have the patience of a spinnig turbo I try it also on this forum hoping anybody recognize it..

I would like to know which ECU it actually is and which tuning software I could use for it.
Also if it would be a good upgrade instead of a HKS F-con (piggy bag) ?

Already thanks for any information

Given the Hitachi H8S microcontroller and the bunch of JRC branded parts this looks like a Japanese piggy-back.
I also spot lots of pots on the side and if that is the only way to tune this thing it is probably complete rubbish.

I would suggest to fork out the cash for a decent stand-alone ECU instead of trying to use this because it was free.

Ok, thanks you all.

I get it for free.
Now I know it is nothing decent I don't have any problems to trow this away.

Wait, you tune that thing with a screwdriver? Was writable memory not invented yet?

Now I'm thinking about the minimum number of variables you'd need to control a car without blowing it up. I think it would be more than the number of pots on that board.
